I am and always will be in love with these two. It’s not everyday that you find a heart connection with a bride and groom that you work with. There was just something between us that felt like we’ve always known each other. I adore them and was so honored to be a part of their day.
The emotion you see was real, genuine, honest. They adore each other…
In the bride’s own words…here’s a little about their story and day:
“When Wes took a job in my hometown of Fayetteville, NC, we attended a church that is near and dear to my heart, Fayetteville Community Church. During this time, we grew spiritually as individuals and as a couple. When he proposed to me, we knew that this needed be the location of our wedding ceremony. I also knew that I wanted to have the reception at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. Having visited the garden several times, I knew that it would be the perfect setting for a fall wedding. It helped that it was next door to the church too! Our wedding colors, purple and gold, reflected the time of year and also paid tribute to our alma mater, East Carolina University. Our food reflected our southern, down home heritage with fried chicken and pimiento macaroni and cheese. Aside from all the details of our wedding, our love for one another, our families, and our friends is what made our day most special. Having everyone come together to celebrate such a special day with us was wonderful!”
